Apple Raises Subscription Prices Across Service Plans

Apple Music, Apple One subscription prices rise in the UAE as Individual plan hits AED 5.34; Family and Student tiers also get costlier for users

Apple increased the prices of its Apple Music subscription plans in the UAE, raising the monthly cost for Individual, Family and Student users. The revised prices are now in effect for subscribers across the UAE.

Individual membership for Apple Music is priced at  AED 5.34 per month. This was initially priced at  AED 4.62. The Family membership gets a price hike of AED 8.72 per month, up from AED 6.82 previously. The Student membership has been increased from AED 2.25 per month to  AED 2.63.

Apple One Plans Become More Expensive

Apple has revised the prices of its Apple One subscription bundles in the UAE. The Individual plan now costs AED 39.95 per month. per month. Apple has attributed the price increase to rising music licensing costs. The company has also implemented similar price changes in several international markets.

The family plan is currently priced at AED 52.95 per month. On the other hand, the Premier plan is now priced at AED 37.88 per month, up from its existing price of AED 34.23.

Apple One allows one to have different services within a single subscription. Different plans give users access to services such as Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+.

Apple Raises Subscription Costs Amid Broader Price Revisions

Apple Music's price surge represents the company's first significant price increase for the music streaming platform after several years. This follows the recent announcement of an increase in the price of AppleCare+ subscriptions for Macs and iPads.

In the current update, Apple users will pay more for Apple Music, either on its own or in bundles. The music streaming service still retains some unique features, which include ad-free streaming, the ability to download music offline, Lossless Audio and Spatial Audio, and access to Apple Music Classical.

This price surge will impact all customers who subscribe to Apple Music. Both new and existing users will be impacted, as the company reviews subscription fees globally.
