Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) has come up with a new membership program which includes all the business assistance facilities available with Sheraa. This program is aimed at catering to entrepreneurs from the very inception of an idea till the time they build up their business. Sheraa plans to welcome up to 400 members during the 2026–27 cycle as it works toward its long-term goal of supporting 1,000 ventures by 2030.
The new Sheraa Membership replaces separate support programmes with one connected system. Entrepreneurs will have continued access to mentorship, funding opportunities, business advice, networking events and growth resources instead of joining different initiatives at different stages.
The program is open to founders of all nationalities who want to launch or expand their businesses in Sharjah. Members will move through structured stages based on their business progress, following a roadmap that includes practical sessions and guidance from industry experts.
Sheraa has grouped its services into three key areas. The first focuses on helping businesses get started by offering discounted licensing, co-working spaces and other operational benefits.
The second provides learning opportunities through masterclasses, business clinics, sprint labs and one-on-one sessions with experienced entrepreneurs. The third connects founders with investors, procurement opportunities, trade missions and startup events, including the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival, giving them access to a wider business network.
Sheraa says the membership is a key step in its plan to strengthen Sharjah's startup ecosystem. By 2030, the centre aims to support 1,000 ventures, help create 1,000 jobs, launch more than 50 youth-led businesses and facilitate AED 50 million in commercial deals for companies based in the emirate. Applications are now open throughout the year through Sheraa's official website.

Rather than offering support for a limited program period, Sheraa wants founders to remain connected as their businesses evolve. The centre believes continuous access to mentors, investors and business opportunities will help startups become stronger and contribute to Sharjah's growing knowledge-based economy.
