Google is preparing to unveil its next Pixel smartphone lineup on August 12, with Pixel 11 Pro Fold expected to be one of the major devices at the event. The upcoming foldable smartphone is coming with other Pixel 11 series models.
Google has confirmed that the event will focus on Gemini Intelligence. The company has not revealed complete details, while leaks have suggested possible specifications, pricing, and features of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.
Google has not confirmed the pricing yet, but based on leaked pricing details, the foldable smartphone could cost between AED 7,440 and AED 7,830.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to feature an 8-inch LTPO OLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display could measure 6.4 inches and may also support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to run on Google’s Tensor G6 processor. Leaked information suggests the foldable could offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The smartphone may pack a 5,015mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is tipped to feature a triple rear camera system. The setup may include a 48MP primary camera, a 10.5MP ultra-wide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom. For selfies, the device could include 10MP cameras placed on both the outer display and the inner folding screen.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to strengthen Google’s position in the premium foldable smartphone market. The company is also expected to introduce the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL at the same event. The final specifications, pricing and availability will be confirmed by Google during the launch event.
