Netflix has expanded the world of KPop Demon Hunters with 22 new episodes across two companion titles, giving fans more stories, stop-motion adventures and choreography videos while they wait for the film's confirmed sequel.
The new content arrived on November 2 and spans four new seasons across KPop Demon Hunters PLAYlist and KPop Demon Hunters Bonus Content. Together, the additions run for approximately 78 minutes.
The biggest addition is KPop Demon Hunters PLAYlist, a new children's title featuring three seasons and 13 episodes, with a combined runtime of approximately 49 minutes.
The first season, titled HUNTR/X Backstage Pass, features six short episodes following Rumi, Mira and Zoey as they navigate rival idols, songwriting challenges and encounters with demons. The stories include a demon stealing the group's 'Golden' costumes before an awards show and Derpy repeatedly appearing at their apartment.
The second season, KPop Toy Creations, has three stop-motion episodes featuring toy versions of the characters. These revisit moments from the film, including Rumi and Jinu's early relationship, a bathhouse battle involving rubber duckies and an airplane battle.
The third season, Play Games With Us, contains four episodes featuring dolls, fan challenges and games. Activities include fruit-slicing challenges, dance battles and making noodles using kinetic sand.
Netflix has also added the second season of KPop Demon Hunters Bonus Content, titled Dance Videos. The collection features nine episodes running just under 29 minutes.
The videos showcase the film's choreography performed by its original choreographers. Leejung Lee handles the official choreography for 'How It's Done', while Nain performs the routines for 'Golden' and 'Takedown'. K-Tigers feature in the choreography videos for 'Soda Pop' and 'Your Idol'.
The collection also includes an animated HUNTR/X rehearsal of 'How It's Done', featuring choreography that did not appear in the film, alongside three 'Power of Movement' videos inspired by Rumi, Mira and Zoey.

While the new episodes offer fans additional content, the sequel remains some distance away. Netflix confirmed the follow-up in March, with Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans returning as directors.
The sequel reportedly targets a 2029 release, although that timeline remains uncertain. The filmmakers have indicated that the next instalment will be even bigger in scale and more eventful than the original.
Meanwhile, the first film has spent 67 weeks in Netflix's global top 10, recording 1,145.8 million viewing hours and 687.1 million completed views.
Fans in the US will also get to experience the franchise beyond streaming, with KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience opening at Netflix House Dallas on November 12 and Netflix House Philadelphia on November 20. General admission tickets start at USD 39.
